Are we allowed to use image as a forum signature?

Just want to know.
I tried every way to embed an image into my forum signature (BBcode/Html/Live edit mode/etc.)
but none is working. I've seen a moderator using a gif signature in this forum.
So I took a guess, are junior member allowed to attach an image into our signature?
If not, which rank will unlock this feature?

We need a MOD to answer this as well, I am trying to add a signature too but same as you, its not working
