  • Team Competition Season 16 Schedule Announcement

    Dear Adventurer
    The 16th season of the Team Competition will begin on April 29th and will last for four weeks, from April 29th to May 26th.

    Adjustments to the Team Competition Season Matchmaking Rules:
    1. Season matchmaking time is adjusted to Saturdays from 20:00 to 23:00

    2. Cross-server matchmaking is enabled for the season mode

      1. For servers that have already enabled cross-server features, team competition season mode will have cross-server matchmaking;

      2. Seasonal point rankings will still be calculated based on the server, and tournaments will still be held within the server

    3. In the season mode, a team can have up to two players of the same class; matchmaking can't be initiated if there are three or more players of the same class in the team;

    4. During the season and tournament matchmaking process, players will not be able to change classes. To change classes, please stop matchmaking first

    5. To make matchmaking more convenient, the setting of requiring teammates' confirmation when the leader initiates a season match has been removed

    6. During the season and tournament matchmaking process, players will not be able to change classes. To change classes during Season Mode, please stop matchmaking first and restart matchmaking after changing the classes. To change classes during Cup Tournament, you need to leave party one by one to change job and rejoin the party. Please make sure there is a minimum of 3 players in the team. Recommended for players to leave and re-join one by one instead of 2/3 players leaving party together.

    At the end of the season, the [Team Competition] Tournament stage will begin:
    1. Tournament time: May 27th, 2024 to June 2nd, 2024;
      After the tournament is over, rewards will be distributed based on tournament rankings and seasonal points. Seasonal point totals will be adjusted after the tournament ends.

    2. Tournament participation rules:

      1. [Arena] - [Competitive] tab will add new [Tournament Mode];

      2. From Monday at 5:00 am to Friday at 12:00 am, adventurers can create/join tournament teams, form full 6-player teams, and have all members click confirm. Then the team leader can register the team;

      3. Registration time is from Friday at 5:00 am to Friday at 12:00 am. Registered teams will be ranked based on the total points of the six adventurers in the team during the current season of the team competition. The top 32 teams can participate in the official matches;

      4. After the registration time ends, team competition points will be used to confirm the match and generate a bracket. The match rules are as follows:

        1. The top 1/4 of teams, sorted by team competition points, are considered seeded teams (e.g., 16 of the 64 competing teams).

        2. In the seeded teams, the top 8 and bottom 8 will be randomly placed in different groups within the left and right halves of the bracket.

        3. Remaining teams will be randomly assigned.

        4. Final round (8 teams) will have random matchups.

    3. Tournament schedule rules:

      1. The first round of matches begins at 20:00 on Saturday.

      2. 15 minutes before the match (19:45-20:00), the team leader must click [Start Matchmaking] to confirm participation in the match.

      3. Teams that don't click [Start Matchmaking] within the specified 15 minutes will be considered as forfeiting the match;

      4. Matchmaking cannot occur when there are non-registered team members in the team, when a team member is offline, or when there are fewer than three members in the team;

      5. During matchmaking, changing classes will cause the team to exit matchmaking. The team leader must click [Start Matchmaking] again to confirm participation in the match;

      6. The tournament format is a mixed knockout competition. The first four rounds are single elimination, with 32 teams competing in three rounds to determine the top 4. From the top 4 round, matches will be determined in a best-of-3 format. The matches will have a fixed dungeon order, which will be "Magic Prison-Black and White Chess-Temple of Reincarnation." If one team wins both of the first two matches, the third match won't be necessary. The final losing team will be the runner-up, and the two losing teams from the previous round will be tied for third place.
