Compared to other classes, the Alchemist class has significantly low damage output to monsters. This is because IAD relies on VIT yet all monsters have zero VIT. This low damage output is accompanied by high cost. Each cast of IAD consumes 1 Acid Bottle and 1 Bottle Grenade. If you cast Fire Expansion or Crazy Throw, the cost becomes 2 of each bottle. This is too expensive if you need to kill a monster with high HP like boss monsters. Other classes (e.g. Arcane Master and Novice Guardian) can deal continuous burst damage without any cost. The Alchemist class does not have any other effective offensive skill aside from Hell Plant, which also requires Plant Bottle for each cast. This renders the Alchemist class impractical in dungeon instances like Thanatos Tower.
